STEP TO EMPOWER was founded by Hanna Zamostna after experiencing the challenges of rebuilding life in the UK following displacement from Ukraine.
What began as lived experience became a mission: to help others move forward with dignity, confidence and opportunity.

Hanna Zamostna is the Founder and CEO of STEP TO EMPOWER C.I.C., a community organisation that empowers people from diverse backgrounds across Greater Manchester through leadership development, mentoring, wellbeing programmes and community engagement. Originally from Ukraine, she combines her experience in healthcare, coaching, mentoring and community development to help individuals build confidence, develop new opportunities and thrive in their communities.
Through STEP TO EMPOWER, Hanna designs and delivers programmes that support personal growth, resilience, employability and social inclusion. She is passionate about helping people recognise their strengths, overcome challenges and become active contributors to society, creating stronger, more connected and inclusive communities.
